WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Boost Blinds, where our story officially began in May 2020. Founded by Bruno De Micheli, our journey traces back to his early immersion in the Window Covering industry, amassing over 12 years of diverse experience. Bruno's venture into this field started in 2012 during his high school years, initially as a part-time job. His dedication led him to work in the factory after school, dedicating weekends and summers to mastering the manufacturing process of all blinds and shades.
Post high school, Bruno transitioned to the role of an Installer, honing his skills in professionally installing the window covering products he had learned to craft. In 2015, he stepped into the realm of sales, visiting homes across the Greater Toronto Area, mastering the intricacies of the sales process. His success in this role led to a significant promotion in 2017 when he became a National Account Executive. In this capacity, Bruno crisscrossed Canada for two years, establishing new dealer partnerships for the manufacturer.
In 2020, with the onset of the pandemic and a factory closure, Bruno seized the opportunity to open his own window coverings store, sourcing products throughout Canada. His career trajectory, encompassing manufacturing, repair, installation, and sales, has bestowed upon him a comprehensive understanding of the industry. It is Bruno's well-rounded expertise that has propelled Boost Blinds to become the trusted and reputable company it is today.

In March 2022, Daniel Battiston joined our team, adding to his wealth of experience in management and leadership. Daniel's background further enhances our company's capabilities, setting the stage for meaningful customer relations and the delivery of high-quality service.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Proud Sponsor of the Oakville Angels Girls Softbal Team
The Oakville Angels have always fielded extremely competitive teams and have won medals at the Regional, Provincial and National levels. The Rep program offers girls a chance to play softball at the highest level in the country. We are affiliated with the PWSA (Provincial Womens Softball Association) who are the governing body for Select and Rep softball in the province of Ontario. We adhere to the guidelines set by PWSA, Softball Ontario and Softball Canada. Girls who have the skill and commitment to have fun at the Rep Level in Oakville are given the opportunity to play in Provincial Grand Championships which may allow them to qualify for the Canadian National Championships held annually in a designated city in Canada.
ANNUAL FUNDRAISER FOR CAMH: CENTER FOR ADDICTION & MENTAL HEALTH:
At Boost Blinds, we are committed to supporting mental health initiatives, and annually host a dedicated fundraiser for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). This event is a testament to our dedication to fostering mental well-being within our community. By actively contributing to CAMH's mission, we aim to raise awareness and funds to support research, education, and patient care in the field of mental health. Join us in making a positive impact and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health through our annual CAMH fundraiser. Together, we can make a difference and promote a healthier, more compassionate community.
July 2024- Boost Blinds Barbecue for The Wounded Warriors Foundation.
Boost Blinds is thrilled to invite families to join us for the Boost Blinds Barbecue at Boyd Park. This event is designed to create a day of joy, laughter, and outdoor fun for families, complete with delicious food and entertaining games for all ages. What makes this occasion even more special is that all funds raised during the event will be dedicated to supporting The Wounded Warriors Foundation. At Boost Blinds, we believe in giving back to those who have sacrificed so much for our well-being, and this barbecue serves as a heartwarming opportunity for our community to come together, have a wonderful time, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our wounded warriors.
